Eric Drooker was born and raised in New York City, where he began slapping his images on the streets as a teenager. Drooker’s reputation has grown as a social critic and he has led countless editorial illustrations for the Nation, the New York Times, the New Yorker, and the Progressive. He has expanded his work to graphic novels that have won the American Book Award. Drooker was hired by DreamWorks Animation after he helped design the animation for the film Howl. His art is in the permanent collection of many museums including the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Library of Congress.
