Carol Dyer is an accomplished painter of early American traditions. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she now resides in Maryland where she paints full time. Authenticity and meticulous attention to detail are trademarks of her paintings which celebrate the different aspects of American life. Carol began her artistic career painting signs for friends who enjoyed her unique folk art designs. Her paintings show her continued enjoyment for signs, as they are sprinkled throughout her major works. Carol has exhibited extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic area and was commissioned by the Eastport Yacht Club in Annapolis to do the rendition of their famous Lights Parade. Over 15 of her paintings have been published as limited edition prints.
