Guido Borelli was born into an artistic family in 1952. Guido’s first art challenge came in the form of a competition and although he did not win the art award, he continued to make artistic strides. He received art training at Accademia Albertina. Beginning with Guido’s first exhibition at the Ars Plauda Gallery in 1969, he has continued to have exhibitions all around the world. In addition to these rotating exhibitions, he has permanent exhibitions in Vermont, Louisiana, France and Italy. Guido’s painting style is influenced by the Italian realistic style beginning in the 1900’s. Inspired by the movement of shadows, his oil paintings reflect nature as the focal points depicting Italian landscapes and villas of Northern Italy and the Alps.
