It all started in 1974 in The Chief Tormentor’s garage – and we’ve been celebrating our 50th Anniversary all year! In August, we hosted a monumental puzzle event at The Hanover Inn in Hanover, NH, complete with fun games, lots of prizes, and a weekend filled with so many puzzles there was no way to piece them all together! We also unveiled our new book – Piece by Piece, authored by John Grossmann. A long-time Stave puzzle fan himself, John interviewed The Chief Tormentor, current and former employees, Stave artists, and lots of customers. His wit and humor shine through as he captures the trials and triumphs of Stave's first 50 years.
In Stave fashion, this is no ordinary book — you'll find puzzles and games embedded into the story. Find hidden images, word clues, picture puzzles, a rebus challenge, and more among the pages.
