Experience the magical brilliance and profound talent of artist Bill Bell in this one-of-a-kind masterpiece created exclusively for Stave! Read the story below.
For years I've wanted to commission a Stave artist to do a fanciful scene of how Stave puzzles might have been crafted in jolly olde England 400 years ago. Ideally the artist should have an illustrative style like Bill Bell, one of our most popular artists. Bill was just too famous and too busy to get involved with little Stave Puzzles. Besides, he lives in New Jersey—too far away for easy collaboration.
But recently, and magically, Bill Bell visited Staveland. So I told Bill about my crazy idea and showed him my sketch of the Stave workshop. Bill was excited! He loved it. His eyes lit up and he started asking a zillion questions of how our puzzles are crafted. He then hopped in his car and drove back to New Jersey where he immediately started sketching and painting the scene.
A few weeks later he reappeared with his semi-finished work-in-progress. To say we were blown away is an understatement. But he was having trouble figuring out how to humorously portray the crafting of our puzzles. After some serious brainstorming he headed back home. During the trip his imagination solved the problem. Three weeks later he reappeared with his finished masterpiece showing the Stave Gravity Grinding Picture Pixilater in all its glory. How ingenious! We are astounded by his inventiveness and humorous details.
Every time we gaze upon this marvelous scene we discover new clever details, just as you will even after assembling your puzzle five times. This is a scene which keeps on giving! And it will give you and your loved ones hours of fun and entertainment!
